About LyricsFlow MVMaker
LyricsFlow MVMaker is a free, browser-based studio for making kinetic typography lyric videos. It is developed and run by the LyricsFlow MVMaker Team.
Why we built it
Independent musicians, vocal synth producers and cover singers increasingly release songs on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and almost every release needs a lyric video. Professional motion graphics software is expensive and slow to learn, while many online video tools require uploading your unreleased track to someone else's server and waiting in a render queue.
We wanted a tool where you can drop in a song and its lyrics and get a lively, synchronised lyric video in minutes — without an account, without uploading your music, and in any aspect ratio a platform requires.
What makes it different
- Private by design — audio is decoded, previewed and encoded to MP4 inside your browser using WebCodecs and ffmpeg.wasm.
- Made for lyrics — phrase-level timeline, two overlap lanes, vertical writing for Japanese and Chinese, and dozens of entry and exit animations tuned for readable text.
- Multilingual — the editor is available in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Korean, with fonts suited to each script.
- One project, every platform — switch between 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 and export each version from the same timeline.
